Not a solution as such, but a workaround. Terrible build quality, and terrible online support.Įdit: If anyone is interested, my solution to my X52 joystick's flickering LED lights and power-surging was simply to buy a cheaper but adequate Logitech G Extreme 3D Pro joystick. I have done everything possible to fix the issue (e.g., using a different cable, using a different USB port (USB 2.0 instead of US 3.0, using a port on another USB hub, using a port on the motherboard directly, and using another USB hub altogether), and I have even tried downgrading drivers). I owned my first one for almost 15 years until it stopped working around 2019 however, my newest order has barely been used once or twice a year, but it has already developed the infamous flickering light/power surge problem after just 3 years, which results in brief but total loss of controls and my sensitivities/curves resetting during flights (e.g., with X-Plane 11 and MSFS). It's almost as poor as the build quality of their X52 joystick/throttle. Saitek's driver website is absolutely useless they should be ashamed of themselves for such a useless website that does not actually work. Thank you everybody above who suggested to download drivers from Logitech's website.
